The product overview lists every product you track in Pricing Intelligence with what the market is doing around it: its priority, where your reference price sits among competitor offers, its price index and the lowest competitor price over the last week. Open Pricing Intelligence > Product Overview. You need the Product Overview Management permission to open the page. Exporting, finding offers, stopping tracking and correcting matches need more; see Permissions.

Key terms

These definitions are the ones every figure on the page uses.
  • Tracked product: a catalog product with Track in Pricing Intelligence turned on. Only tracked products are listed. See Products.
  • Reference price: the price of the product on the price level its market is compared against, or, when the market has none, on the price level marked as the recommended retail price. The status line under the title names the level. See Price levels.
  • Fresh offer: a competitor offer whose latest price was seen within the freshness window. The window is the Competitor freshness window (days) setting, 7 days by default, shared with the Repricer and the manufacturer dashboard; see The freshness window. Older prices are left out of every figure.
  • Available offer: a fresh offer a customer can order. Offers marked as not available are still listed in a product’s details, but every figure on the page is computed from available offers only.
  • Stale product: a product that has had competitor offers, but none within the freshness window.

The page header

The header sets what the whole page covers:
  • Market: the market whose offers the page shows. The page shows one market at a time. It opens on your home market; if you have not picked one, Omnilinker chooses one for you and says “Chosen for you because you have not picked a home market.” Pick another market from the list, or pin the one you are viewing as your home market so every Pricing Intelligence page opens on it. See Markets and data sources.
  • Live or As of a date: whether you see current prices or prices as they were at a moment in the past. See Look back in time.
Under the title, a status line says what the figures are made of, for example:
1,240 tracked products · compared against the price level “RRP” · last crawl 2 h ago · 38 SKUs without a signal for 7+ days
  • The number of tracked products that match your filters, before any insight card narrows them.
  • The price level the reference prices come from.
  • How long ago the newest offer among these products was seen.
  • How many of them are stale. This part is left out when none are. It always says “7+ days”, but the count follows the freshness window setting, which may be set to another number of days.

Insight cards

Under the status line, five cards count the products that match your filters: Click a card to show only those products. The card is highlighted and a removable filter appears under the toolbar. Click the card again, or remove the filter, to show everything. When you turn on several cards, a product must match all of them. The Stale > 7 days card always says 7 days; the products it counts follow the freshness window setting. The Price violations card’s subtitle reads “Below MAP or above RRP on tracked SKUs”, but the card counts only offers below your reference price. Offers above it are not counted.

Priority

Every product gets one priority. The highest that applies wins: Market position compares your reference price with the average of the available offers: Below Market when it is more than 5% below, Above Market when it is more than 5% above, and At Market in between. Offers in a currency other than the reference price’s are not compared.

Find products

Type in the search box and press Enter. It finds the text anywhere in the SKU, GTIN or product name, in any letter case. Press Ctrl+K to jump to the box. Click × to clear it.

Filters

Click Advanced Filters to open Filter products. The badge on the button shows how many filters are on. The dialog counts the matching products as you change it; nothing on the page changes until you click Apply filter. Reset all clears the dialog. Its header also has a Saved views menu, and its footer a Save as view button; see Saved views. Simple mode starts with its own Quick search box (SKU, GTIN or product name) and groups the filters: When you pick several tags, choose Match ALL or Match ANY. Each chip-style filter also has Any, which turns it off. Advanced mode builds the filter from conditions. Click Add condition, choose a field, an operator and a value, and choose Combine: All (AND) or Any (OR). A filter holds at most 50 conditions. The fields are the same as in Simple mode. Each filter you apply appears under the toolbar as a chip. Click × on a chip to remove it, or Clear All Filters to remove them all. The market is not a filter, so clearing filters keeps it.

Saved views

The Views: row holds saved combinations of filters and search. Click a view to apply it.
  • Save Current Filter appears once you have a filter or a search. Give the view a name, and optionally make it the default.
  • The ⋯ menu on a view offers Edit name, Update with current filters, and Set as Default or Unset Default.
  • The bin icon on a view (Delete view) deletes it.
  • The default view is applied when anyone opens the page.
Saved views are shared by everyone in your organization. Seeing them needs the Saved Filters permission; creating, changing and deleting them need its Create, Update and Delete permissions.

Sort

Click Sort and choose Product name, SKU, Brand or Reference price. The last item in the menu switches between Ascending and Descending. In the table you can also sort by clicking the Product or Reference price column header. The address bar keeps the market, the moment you look at, the filters, the sort, the view (Table, Cards or Matrix) and the open product, so you can bookmark the page or send the link to a colleague.

Views

Switch between Table, Cards and Matrix in the toolbar. Table and Cards show the same page of products; Matrix summarizes every product that matches.

Table

The table shows 10 products per page; choose 10, 25, 50 or 100. The price index is your reference price divided by the average of the available offers: 1.00 is the market average, below 1.00 you are cheaper, above 1.00 you are dearer. It is not shown when the two cannot be compared. Click a row, or its product name, to open the product’s details. With the keyboard, Tab reaches the product name, the arrow keys, Home and End move between rows, and Enter opens the details.

Cards

Each card shows one product: Product Details with its identifiers and any Violations, No Offers or High Deviation badges; Price Analytics with Your Price, Purchase Price and margin, the Min, Median, Avg and Max of the available offers and the market position; and Market Offers, which you can sort by price, merchant or update time. A card with no offers links to Product matching. Under each card, View Offers opens the Offers page for the product, Price History opens its price history and Discover starts a search for its offers. Above the cards, a checkbox selects every product on the page.

Matrix

The matrix sorts every matching product into a grid: rows by priority (Critical “Action needed now”, Warning “Watch closely”, Healthy “At market, stable”, Opportunity “Room to raise”) and columns by market position (Below Market, At Market, Above Market, No Offers). A product with offers but no comparable reference price counts as At Market; a product whose offers all cannot be ordered counts as No Offers. Each cell shows how many products it holds and up to four of them. A darker cell holds more products. The headers add up the columns and rows.
  • Click a product in a cell to open its details.
  • Click the count, or +N, to open the list of every product in the cell. In the list, tick products to select them, use Select all (N) or Deselect all, and click a product to open its details.
The matrix covers at most 1,000 products. With more matches it says “Showing the first 1000 of N matching products”; narrow your filters to see a complete picture.

Product details

Click a product in any view to open its details on the right. Close them with ×, Escape or a click outside.
  • Header: the priority with its reasons, the product name, SKU, GTIN and brand.
  • Price History opens the product’s price history; see Price history. Discover searches for the product’s offers; see Find offers for products.
  • Market: shows the product in another market, for this product only. The page keeps its own market, and the next product you open starts from it again.
  • Price position: Reference (with the cost), Margin (marked risk below 15%), and Price idx (with “below market”, “at market” or “above market”). A bar shows Cheapest, your rank among the available offers (“You · rank #2/6”) and Most expensive, and the median offer.
  • Competitor offers (N): each offer’s merchant, data source, price and difference from your reference price, with a truck icon for free shipping. The cheapest offer is highlighted. Offers that cannot be ordered are listed last under Not available · not counted (N). Click a merchant’s name to open the offer in a new tab. The first six offers are shown; Show all (N) shows the rest. View price history opens the price history.
  • Why this product is flagged: the reasons behind a priority other than Healthy, such as Violation, No Offers, High Deviation, Above Market or Below Market.
Each offer has a menu with these items, each shown only when it applies:
  • Open competitor URL, when the offer has a link to the merchant’s page.
  • Source data downloads, as a JSON file, the raw result of the crawl that saw the price. It is offered only for a price that came from a crawl in the last 14 days, because source data is kept for 14 days.
  • Wrong product?, when you may correct matches. Use it when the offer is filed under the wrong product; see Fix a wrong product match.
When the product has no offers, the details say “No competitor offers tracked” with Start discovery. When its offers are all older than the freshness window, they say “No fresh competitor offers”.

Work with several products

Tick the products you want in the table or the cards, or in a matrix cell’s list. The toolbar is replaced by a bar that counts them.
  • Select all N matching extends the selection to every product that matches the filters, on every page, up to 10,000. Back to the N on this page returns to the current page’s selection.
  • Export downloads the selected products; see Export.
  • Discover offers searches for the selected products’ offers; see Find offers for products.
  • Stop Tracking asks “Stop tracking N products?”. Click Stop Tracking again to confirm, or Cancel. The products leave Pricing Intelligence; their offers and price history are kept. To track them again, turn Track in Pricing Intelligence back on in the catalog.
  • × clears the selection, as does Escape.
While products are selected, the insight cards, saved views and filter chips cannot be changed. Changing the market, the filters or the time clears the selection.

Find offers for products

A product with no competitor offers needs discovery: Omnilinker searches a data source for it and suggests matches on Product matching, where you confirm them.
1

Choose the products

To cover every product without offers, click Discover offers in the toolbar. The figure next to it counts those products. Omnilinker turns on the No competitor offers filter, selects all of them and opens Discover Products. For other products, select them and click Discover offers in the selection bar, or click Discover on one product.
2

Choose the data sources

In Select Data Sources for Discovery, pick one or more data sources.
3

Start the search

Click Start Discovery. Omnilinker starts one search per data source and says, for example, “Discovery started for 2 data source(s).” When a data source is already searching, the products wait in its queue and start when that search ends; the message then adds how many were “queued behind the current run”.

Export

1

Choose what to export

To export every product that matches the filters, click Export > Export All Filtered. To export only some, select them and click Export in the selection bar.
2

Download the file

Omnilinker says “Exporting products”, then “Products exported successfully” and downloads an Excel file: product-overview-<date>-<time>.xlsx, or selected-products-<date>-<time>.xlsx for a selection.
The file has one row per product, ordered by SKU, with these columns: Product Name, SKU, GTIN, Brand, Comparison Price (the reference price), Purchase Price, Offer Currency, Reference Currency, Purchase Currency, Total Offers, Available Offers, Not Available Offers, Total Violations, Lowest Price, Average Price, Highest Price, Median Price, Price Deviation (%), Below Market (%), Tracking Status, Last Update, Created Date, Merchants, Has No Offers and Has Stale Data. The figures are for the market in view. One file holds at most 10,000 products.

Look back in time

You can see the overview as it was at a moment in the last 30 days.
1

Open the time menu

Click Live next to the market, at the top of the page.
2

Pick the moment

Under Quick Presets, choose Yesterday Morning (9:00 yesterday), Yesterday Evening (18:00 yesterday) or Last Week (7 days ago, at the current time). Or pick a date and time under Select date & time… and click Apply. The times in this menu are in UTC.
3

Step through the days

The button now reads As of and the moment. Open it again and use the arrows next to Historical View to move a day back or forward.
4

Return to current prices

Open the menu and choose Live.
In the past, each figure uses the offers as they were at that moment, with the same freshness window counted back from it. The menu also lists Last Month, but it does not work yet: Omnilinker always answers “The selected date is outside the available history window”. To look about a month back, pick a date and time under Select date & time… a little later than 30 days ago.

Troubleshooting

Only products with Track in Pricing Intelligence turned on are listed. Check also the market, the search box, the insight cards and the filter chips: each of them narrows the list. Clear All Filters removes every filter but keeps the market.
The page shows one market. Offers from data sources in other markets are not counted. Switch the market, or open the product’s details and change the market there.
The figure cannot be computed. Hover over the margin’s dash for the reason. Common causes: no purchase price, no reference price for the market’s price level, a reference price and offers in different currencies, or no offer that can be ordered.
The overview can look back 30 days. Choose a later moment. Last Month always gets this answer; see Look back in time.
The date and time you typed under Select date & time… is more than 30 days ago or in the future. The message names the window you can choose from.
Narrow the filters, or export a selection, so that it holds 10,000 products or fewer.
You clicked Discover offers in the toolbar, and every product that matches has at least one competitor offer in this market. Nothing needs discovery.
No search could be started. Discover Products stays open with your choices, so click Start Discovery again. When only some data sources fail, Omnilinker says how many “could not be started” and runs the rest.
The products you tried to stop tracking were no longer tracked. Reload the page.
